A fish cleaning table for your boat.
A Better Fish Table screws to the cleaning station or bait board you already have, or drops into a gunwale rod holder with the Magma LeveLock mount. The fish lies belly-up in a 70° V cradle, so it can't roll when the boat does, and both your hands stay on the knife.

Built for a boat that moves.
Screws down in four
Four flush 316 stainless screws hold the base to the cleaning station or bait board. Nothing rusts, nothing works loose, and it comes off when you want the station back.
Or into a rod holder
Four holes pre-cut in the base take the Magma LeveLock mount. Drop the post into a gunwale rod holder, set it level with the lever, and clean fish at the rail.
The V does the holding
Belly-up between two 70° walls, the fish stays where you put it through a swell. The gill cutout at the head end gives you room to bleed and gill it over the side.
Ruler and ledge on board
A 1 to 29 in ruler on the back wall for size limits before the fish leaves the tray. Slots on the ledge for two knives, pliers and an ikejime spike, so nothing rolls around the deck.
Hose it off
Half-inch FDA-compliant food-grade HDPE, the same plastic as a commercial cutting board. Non-porous, no glue, nothing to rot. Rinse it and it's done.

Fish cleaning table for boats: FAQ
How does it attach to the boat?
Four flush 316 stainless screws through the base, into the cleaning station, bait board or any flat spot you already clean fish on. Pilot holes are marked in the base. Take the screws out and it comes off in a minute.
Can it go in a rod holder instead?
Yes. The base has four holes pre-cut on a 1¼ in square for the Magma LeveLock rod holder mount. Screw the mount under the Table, drop its post into a gunwale rod holder and set it level with the lever. The mount is sold separately by Magma; it fits most cross-pin rod holders.
Does the fish stay put in a swell?
That is the point of the V. The fish lies belly-up between two 70° walls, so it can't roll when the boat does, and both your hands stay on the knife. The gill cutout at the head end gives you room to bleed it.
How do I clean it after a trip?
Hose it off. HDPE is non-porous, so it doesn't soak up moisture, bacteria or odors, and there is no glue or wood to break down. For a deep clean, take the screws out and it comes apart.
What size fish does it take?
The cradle is sized for king salmon from about 9 to 20 lb (roughly 24 to 31½ in to the fork). The tail notch lets bigger tails hang past the end, and rockfish, lingcod, halibut chickens and trout fit fine.
